Doug Massey, PharmD, is a transformative healthcare executive with nearly two decades of experience leading high-growth pharmacy organizations at scale. As Chief Executive Officer of Polaris Rx, Doug is driving the company’s evolution into one of the nation’s most trusted pharmacy partners across the pharmacy landscape.

Under his leadership, Polaris supports more than 75,000 long-term care beds and over 1,200 facilities nationwide through a robust network of more than 20 pharmacy locations, including four dedicated specialty pharmacies. Doug has sharpened the company’s strategic focus on clinical quality and operational excellence, bringing the expertise and vision needed to position Polaris for consistent, patient-centered care and continued growth across every site of service.

Prior to joining Polaris, Doug held senior leadership roles across the pharmacy continuum, including at Avella Specialty Pharmacy, OptumRx, CPS Solutions and Birdi Inc. Doug earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arizona, a foundation that continues to inform his commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
